Midwives care for healthy low-risk clients from the time that they become pregnant until 6 weeks after their birth. Our appointments are usually 30 to 45 minutes long to give you time to get to know your midwives, to learn about your choices and ask questions.

We are a committed teaching practice that works with the students of the Midwifery Education Programs at Ryerson University, Laurentian University and McMaster University. Our students are active participants in all aspects of client care which gives them the experience needed to become skilled and competent graduates.

The class will help you feel more confident and prepared for labour, birth and life with your newborn. The class is taught by experienced and enthusiastic educator Sarilyn Zimmerman. Sarilyn, as a practicing midwife, has attended labour and births in the community for over 26 years
